Lakeland's 'Taken By Surprise' wins nat'l step championship

A Lakeland step team recently won the 2023 High School National Stepping Championship! ‘Taken By Surprise’ is the name of the hot steppers and they hone their skills at Sleepy Hill Middle School in Lakeland.

That's where we went to catch up with these "steppers" and hear more about what it means to them to claim their 5th national championship.
